Dr. Stevens is a graduate of the Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, WI. Dr. Stevens’ drive to serve patients in need began in high school when he decided he would attend medical school. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Dr. Stevens attended the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. It was here that Dr. Stevens had many formative experiences regarding the first profession he had chosen. With the unwavering support of friends and family, Dr. Stevens chose to end his pursuit of a medical degree and attend dental school.
This was one of the hardest decisions he had ever had to make and was finalized on three main premises. First, Dr. Stevens wanted to spend more one-on-one time with patients; a requirement for the individualized care he strives to deliver. Secondly, the field of dentistry is widely known for small business owners serving a local community, something Dr. Stevens always aspired to do. Lastly, family is of utmost importance to Dr. Stevens. A career in dentistry would allow Dr. Stevens the work-life balance necessary to raise a family.
Dr. Stevens currently resides in Juneau, WI with his wife Stephanie and two children, Aimslee and Axel. Stephanie is a Speech and Language Pathologist. Dr. Stevens met Stephanie while in college at UW-Madison where he received a bachelor’s degree in Medical Microbiology and Immunology. Dr. Stevens was a member of the UW-Madison men’s championship rowing team for four years in college. Dr. Stevens is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, and boating. He skis in the American Birkebeiner, a cross-country ski marathon in Hayward, WI, every February.
Originally from Mukwonago, Wisconsin, Dr. Nicholas Novotny earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Touro College of Dental Medicine in New York.
Dr. Novotny was drawn to dentistry for its balance of science, precision, and personal connection. He values the opportunity to care for patients through every stage of life, creating a comfortable experience built on trust and compassion.
He and his wife, Taylor, are high school sweethearts and now live in Lisbon, Wisconsin, with their young son, daughter, and Labrador, Goose. Outside of the office, Dr. Novotny enjoys spending time outdoors—especially deer hunting, fishing, and cheering on Wisconsin sports teams.
